This King’s Cross spot comes from the team behind Spiritland, a nearby all-day ‘listening bar’ with a super-powered sound system and an audiophile following that’s totally justified. Located within King's Cross station this pub is the perfect location for a quick drink before you catch you train. This Fuller's pub offers fresh, seasonal food inspired by 'the best of British', as well as cask ale and a changing range of all drinks soft and alcoholic. The Driver sits in comfortably with the visions of the regenerated Kings Cross area and will no doubt appeal to the late night under 30’s crowds but it’s not my scene and I can’t help lamenting the loss of, not just another traditional style boozer, but one that I used on an almost daily basis.
